Jesus Film Update – March 29, 2013

JFP 3-20-13“We went to a small village that had idol worshippers,” said the team member in Ghana. “After the showing, Namgben, a drunken worshipper of false idols, came forward to confess Jesus is the true God.” He said, ‘God has the power to forgive sins as He forgave me!’ Namgben suffered because of his sinful life.  He became the first person in this village to confess Jesus is Lord!”

Praise God for helping Namgben see the power and truth of Christ.

“My son had panic attacks,”
said Angelita in Argentina. “My son is a university student. His panic attacks were so severe he quit school and stayed inside. I asked the women in the ministry group to pray for him. The prayer of faith on his behalf worked a miracle. He is free from his panic problem. I am faithfully attending the prayer group after becoming a child of God.”

Praise God for working in the lives of this mother and son.

“Bahadur had bitterness in his heart,”
said a team member in Nepal. “We met Bahadur in a small village. He had conflict in his life with another man in his village. The disagreement grew in his heart, and he made bad choices in his life. We were able to help him forgive his neighbor and repent of his sins. Bahadur is living for Christ and attending church.”

Pray for God to use the reconciliation of these men to witness to others in the community.

The rest of the story…

In the February 20th Prayer and Praise, we shared the following request:
“The town is steeped in witchcraft,” said the team member in Liberia. “When we heard   about this place, we began to pray for the gospel to take root in the hearts of the    people. After a week of canvassing, we felt the Holy Spirit move in and take control. We showed the film and Mr. Duo gave his life to Christ. He told us he was living in darkness and now believes Jesus is greater than the darkness. Mr. Duo is helping us find a place for worship. Please pray for this area.”
