Jesus Film Update – December 9, 2012

JFP 12-9-12“I replied ‘Yes!’ to the call of repentance,” said 23 year-old Tansoba in Burkina Faso. “I knew nothing about Jesus, but as I watched the JESUS Film, I discovered the Son of God who loved us so much He would die to forgive us of our sins. I realized that I am a sinner in need of a Savior. I received Jesus as my Savior. I am very happy and will share this with my family!”
Praise God for the call of repentance!

“We showed the JESUS Film at our church,”
said a team member in Argentina. “We were blessed with a great group who prayed the prayer of salvation. The Lord is doing great things in this place! We continue to meet with the people weekly to share God’s Word.”
Pray for this group of new believers to grow in their faith.

“Paul came in on a whim,”
said a team member in the Dominican Republic. “A young man, Paul, was passing near our church when he decided to come inside. That day, without even talking to anyone, the Holy Spirit convicted him and he accepted Jesus as his Savior!”
Praise God for His Spirit which convicts and saves!

Prayer Requests:

– Pray for the participants of the Koekuk Church traveling in the Dominican Republic (Dec 5-10)
– Pray for the Bike and a Backpack Trip participants making final preparations to travel to Liberia to equip a team of nationals (Dec 6-14)
