Minnesota City Defies Federal Judge and Bans Christians From Witnessing in Public Park

Despite a Federal judge issuing issued a restraining order against the City of Duluth preventing them from prohibiting speech during the annual Tour of Lights, four Christians were recently barred from sharing the Gospel in a public park.

The Christians were forced to move to a “free speech zone” outside of the event under threat of arrest when police saw that they were evangelizing in the public park. When police were informed of the restraining, they responded that city attorney has given them direction that the only place the Christians could pass out gospel tracts was in a designated “First Amendment zone”, which was outside of the park.
