Jeremiah 17 verse 9 says, “The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who knows how bad it is.”
The other day I read a story about a German insurance company that sponsored sex tourism trips for employees. Apparently, it was part of an incentive/rewards program.
This morning, I read a report from Shared Hope International about an investigation of a high level Dutch official. This official is accused by several victims and others involved, of raping young boys. This is especially disturbing because the man in question is the highest level law enforcement official in the Netherlands. Along with the Shared Hope story, I’ve included a Link to a You Tube video that talks in detail, about the allegations.
Folks, human trafficking is one of the great evils of human kind and it springs from a deceitful and desperately wicked heart. It thrives where darkness prevails. We must drag it into the light, first by imploring our God to help us to know what to do and how to help.
Secondly, get educated. There are many organizations on the front lines of this issue. Links to several are found on the home page of this site. These organization know what to do. They are deeply involved and eager for our help.
Lastly, get involved. As you educate yourself, God may open a door. Step through it – don’t hesitate. Peoples lives are at stake.
