Slavery’s Last Stronghold: CNN’s powerful expose on slavery in Mauritania


The West African nation of Mauritania has officially outlawed slavery.  In spite of this, slavery still exists, even thrives in a nation that refuses to acknowledge the existence of, let alone prosecute, slavery.
