The Arrest, Detention, and Unexpected Release of a Chinese Church Leader


When officers from China’s Jiangsu Province Municipal Public Security Bureau travelled nearly 400 miles from their home base on a special trip to arrest Pastor Shi Enhao, few could have thought it would turn out well. The fifty five year old Pastor had committed the “crime” of holding “illegal meetings and illegally organizing venues for religious meetings”. This criminal offense was not severe enough under Chinese law to warrant a trial, but just bad enough to be sentenced to two years of forced labor.  Read entire story Here:
